Life gets tough when you are unemployed and job hunting.
Four years ago, I was in a similar predicament. I was involved in a terrible car accident and lost my job in the same month. This was truly a November to remember. All of these events happening at the same time was unbelievable, this was way too much to deal with.
Sure thing! it was a challenging time in both my personal and professional life. I began to worry about my health and money, and that became damn stressful. I felt desperate and was eager to consider any minimum wage jobs, I was in search of a quick fix and not a solution. However, my heart and soul guided me in the direction of finding a vision, mission, plan, and support in order to survive this hardship. I needed help and was ready for someone to help get out of the rut.
A few months later, a friend recommended a life/career coach to help me with overcoming my fears and struggles. This was one of the best decisions I had made because working with a coach I found a safe space to operate within. I was able to gain clarity and introspection in both my personal and professional life. This is what I truly needed to keep me ALIVE and redirect my focus and intentions.💪🏾✨
Four activities that helped my optimistic and productivity throughout transitioning:
- Self-introspection
- Daily journaling
- Practice self-care
- Work on projects
- Contribute to others
I was able to survive such a horrible time in my life, and I believe you are capable of doing just the same.
